Anthony Boone explains some ways in which texture is integrated into our lives and we don’t even realize it.
Every space can be made unique with the right art. Here’s how you can let art determine your home’s interior décor.
The name of the game is “balance” when it comes to acing graphic clothing and fashion!
Graphic clothing makes a statement. But if you’re a lover of graphic clothing, that statement can sometimes come out as very confusing, especially if you’ve paired a loud pair of jeans with an equally artistic t-shirt.
So, how do you create this balance when donning your favorite clothes? Here are some fashion tips I’ve come to know as a fashion designer in New Jersey.
Stick to the Classics
If you’re wearing a graphic tee, pairing it with denim and a jacket would go over nicely. Graphic t-shirts are the star attraction, so surrounding them with more color or drama will take away from their look.
Give it Center-Stage
Have a simple graphic outfit? Use another statement piece to bring out the fierceness of the design. For example, if you’re wearing a basic logo t-shirt, wearing a statement jacket or coat will bring the design to a whole new level.
90’s Nostalgia
Let’s say you’re wearing a dress from the women’s wearable art selection designed by yours truly. With something like a two-piece outfit, top and dress, the best way to boost your style is to take inspiration from the 90s. Pair a denim jacket with the graphic style outfit, contrasting chunky boots with a dress to bring out the bright hues!
Make it Edgy
Think of it as a black frame encasing your graphic style outfit! Black jackets or coats work well with graphic dresses because they enhance the starkness of the colors against a dark black canvas. Use that to your advantage.
Dial it Down
Is your outfit art in wearable form? Dial down your natural style and wear neutral accessories and simple jewelry. No long necklaces, dramatic heels, or statement sneakers. Wearable art is a statement in itself. Allow it to shine.
Make One Color the Star of the Show
For example, let’s say you’re wearing a stunning art dress from my collection. Use a single dominating color to elevate the overall style. Wear matching footwear, tone down the accessories and let that dress speak for itself.
Follow Your Inspiration
If you love graphic wear, you’ll most likely come across a fashion emergency sooner or later. Use the above tips to your advantage. Wear your graphic fashion in all its glory. But don’t let it overwhelm all your other pieces. You’ll find yourself receiving a lot more compliments for your unique style and your sense of fashion!
Contrary to popular belief, style doesn’t evade anyone. You might consider yourself above fashion, but as Miranda Priestly reminds us in the most iconic monologue in The Devil Wears Prada, trends trickle down from the runway straight into our closets in our very own “pile of stuff”.
We all have style that we have consciously or unconsciously curated throughout our life. Maybe you’re lazy and love wearing hand me downs because that means not going out shopping. Or maybe you’re someone who likes to plan their outfits down to the T.
Either way, you don’t have to succumb to fashion trends to come up with your own style. In fact, if you’re someone who likes to stand out and not blend into the crowd, you’re at the right place!
Do you struggle with expressing yourself through your style authentically? These tips can help you make sure you put your best foot forward when styling yourself.
Be open to experimenting
You’ll never know if you like something, if you don’t try it on first! Trying something new can be daunting but it can also be so liberating.
To make it easy for yourself, think about which part of your body you love accentuating the most. Invest in pieces that celebrate that part of you so that when you wear it, you feel good in it, and undoubtedly make you look good too!
Expand your shopping avenues
Scour thrift stores, local fashion brands, or even your sister’s closet to look for one off pieces. If you stick to shopping from departmental stores, you’re going to end up buying something that a hundred other people do as well.
Look for brands that are expressive and creative with their design. Remember, you don’t have to buy something just because it’s different, but think about whether you actually see yourself wearing it.
What are you wearing when you feel your best?
Be conscious of what you’re wearing when you feel most like yourself. This can be at a formal event in the upscale part of town, or even when you’re chilling with your friends. There’s always that one article that you can’t leave the house without or that makes you feel most at home within your skin.
Style is instinctive and if you don’t feel comfortable in something, and you feel like you’re playing a role, just chuck it. Find a style that you can identify with, whether it’s laid back, chic, western or anything else, and then OWN it!

So, you’re a graphic tee junkie and have got a whole closet full of them. But the problem is you’ve run out of ways to style them.
We don’t blame you! Running out of style inspires awesome new looks!
However, we do get how the situation could be frustrating with the spring season in full swing and everyone around you sporting interesting new looks. To solve your problem, we’ve put together three super creative ways to style graphic tees that will go well for any occasion.
From a date with the guy you’ve had a crush on forever, to a casual lunch with your BFF you won’t go wrong with these looks!
Let Blazers Amp Up Your Style
One of the best ways to make sure you stand out from the crowd is to add a classy blazer over your tee. This will look even better if you tuck the shirt in a pair of high waisted or culottes and throw on a chunky belt.
Pair the entire looks with some heels and you’re good to go! Dazzle your date with your edgy style or catch up with friends or family showing off your new look but most of all, make sure you enjoy thoroughly!
Add Interesting Accessories To Achieve A Unique Look
You simply can’t go wrong with accessories. Things like a hat, a coat, a scarf or even some jewelry goes a long way in spicing up your overall style. If you’re not sure which one to go with, add a little bling with a small jewelry item for example, a pendant or earrings.
This look is perfect to wear to your workplace place, a gaming night, or even a casual pamper party with your favorite girlfriends!
When In Doubt, Wear A Skirt!
Spring is here and so are skirts! Maxi and miniskirts in colorful prints and patterns are making the rounds this season and we couldn’t be more in love with the peppy old-school look.
To make the best of this look, tuck your shirt under a skirt and throw on your favorite pair of heels. Complete the look with natural make-up and delicate jewelry and you’re as ready as you’ll ever be!

Is your closet more exhausted than you are of its contents? There comes a time when you simply can’t wear the same clothes anymore. And while it’s hard to recognize it, here are some tell-tale signs that you’ve hit a dead end and need to revamp your closet.
The Last Designer Item You Bought Could Fit Your Niece
When was the last time you got yourself a designer item? If it was five years ago when you were a size zero, you need to let go of it and get yourself clothes that resonate with the current ‘you.’
Even though holding on to old clothes that don’t fit anymore can create the motivation to get fitter, it’s just not ideal. You need clothes that complement who you are today and make you look like your best self in the moment.
You Stand In Front Of Your Full Closet Every Morning And Have Nothing To Wear
We’re all familiar with this feeling; standing for hours in front of our closet, sifting through piles of clothes and yet have absolutely ‘nothing’ to wear. If your nerve-wracking closet search for a nice dress has you frustrated, honey, you need new clothes.
Before you head to your favorite designer shop, though, promise yourself that you’ll only buy clothes that suit your current lifestyle.
You Only Have Blacks, Grays And Whites
This one doesn’t even need an explanation. If your closet is full of blacks, grays and whites, you definitely need to get a little more color in your life! Wearing dull colors repeatedly can get tiring. No wonder you’re reading through this blog post, wondering if it’s time to revamp your closet.
Here’s the thing: if you’re looking for someone to validate the idea, you’re probably tired of your own wardrobe too!
